A cost of 413 million USD , 1500 job opportunity.
The Egyptian ASEC own 100% of Djelfa cement  assets.

The general manager of ERCC  signed yesterday with the Egyptian ASEC CEMENT a contract of Djelfa factory asset transfer, after the success of ASEC Holding in buying the assets in the 10th of December.

The ceremony was attended by the local authority and the wali of Djelfa as he was very optimistic for this contract which permits to the establishment of cement factory with a capacity of 3.5 million tons annually in year 2010, equivalent to 10000 tons daily of clinker.

Mr. Ahmed Khalifa the CEO of ASEC CIMENT ALGERIE said that the investment cost will be 413 million USD.

The project will provide 1500 job opportunities , and ASEC is committed to maintain the mines, environment and nature, ASEC will also maintain the architectural characteristics of the region, ASEC aim is to provide cement with low prices
